Our 1st time here. Food is tasty, just the way we like it (char siu pork, walnut shrimp, Singapore rice noodles) with good service.

The BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had in Southern Oregon! Everything is so fresh, meticulously seasoned and cooked to perfection! Even the white steamed rice was delicious! It is abundantly clear that they are passionate about creating delectable dishes, while providing wonderful service, all at an affordable price.

Stopped by for lunch and they did not disappoint! The business owners were kind and welcoming. The food was cooked with love and tasted absolutely delicious. They have a mix of traditional Chinese food and common Chinese American take out. My favorite was the fish and cabbage soup. It was savory with a slight sour crunch from the pickled cabbage, perfect on a cold day. They also have robots deliver the food! So cute.

My heart goes to Dragon Express! It’s a really authentic Chinese restaurant with great services and balanced choice of food. The owners are very friendly and kind people, it’s always been my go to when I carve Chinese food!!!

You have to try this restaurant, the food is incredibly delicious and authentic. The flavors are amazing and the food is fresh. 10/10! Everything we ate was great but we especially loved the Cumin Lamb, Singapore noodles, Spicy Beef, and the Spicy Fish. Their chicken wings were really crispy and their Pho was really tasty as well. We had everything family style and ate everything! So so good! This is a must try for authentic and delicious Chinese food. Plus, a little robot comes out to help reliever your food, great experience overall. Will definitely be coming again!

Finally, a Chinese restaurant in Medford that doesn't just sell Americanized Chinese food! Their menu has two full pages of authentic Chinese food. They also have several pages of Americanized Chinese food for those who want it. My wife is Chinese and used to the real thing coming from China, and although I am American, I only like authentic Chinese food. We tried 4 dishes, and all were great. We can't wait to go back and try more.

Authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious! We were pleasantly surprised to find such a fantastic Chinese restaurant in Medford during our road trip. Every dish was flavorful and tasted freshly made. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re passing through

As a Chinese person living in the U.S., I have to give this restaurant a huge shout-out. Honestly, after spending so many years in both China and the United States, I’ve never come across a Chinese restaurant that does both American Chinese food and authentic Chinese cuisine this well. I had a chance to chat with the owner and learned that the two chefs in the kitchen are both experienced chefs from Sichuan, China. Finding a restaurant with this much character and genuine warmth in a small city like this is truly a blessing. One thing I really appreciate is that they thoughtfully offer both an American-style menu and an authentic Chinese menu. And to all my American friends reading this review: please give the authentic menu a try! As someone who grew up in China, I can confidently say that their authentic dishes are better than many of the expensive “authentic” Chinese restaurants I’ve visited in places like Los Angeles and New York, where there are much larger Chinese communities.

Dragon Express Chinese Restaurant is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Chinese cuisine. I cannot recommend them highly enough and easily give them 5 stars across the board for food, service, and vibe.If you appreciate true, authentic flavors, you need to visit. The standout dishes for me are the Stir-Fried Beef with Chili and the La Zi Chicken (Spicy Diced Chicken). Both dishes are executed perfectly. They deliver that signature, fiery heat you expect from authentic cooking, but it is beautifully balanced. The spice level is just right—bold and exciting, yet approachable enough for everyone at the table to enjoy.The ingredients were fresh, the execution was flawless, and the overall experience was fantastic. I will definitely be a returning regular!
